Joanne Prince

Joanne started playing the cornet at the age of nine and shortly afterwards joined Woodfalls Junior Band and progressed to Principal cornet. She then switched to Michelmersh Silver in August 1999 and has been involved in many of the bands recent successes. She has since been joined at the band by Mum, Dad, and brother Nick.

She also plays trumpet and up until leaving school last year she was principal trumpet of the school orchestra and jazz band. She has also played trumpet in the shows 'Les Miserables' and 'Anything Goes'.

Joanne passed her grade 7 trumpet in 2004. She left school with 3 'A' levels (including music) and is going to university to study nursing in September 2006.
