| Most Memorable Banding Moment: |
It hasn't happened yet but it will be when we win the National Finals. Don't mind what section!!! Watch this space...........you might have to keep watching for long time............... |
| Most Embarrassing Banding Moment: |
Having to hobble onto the stage and sit on a bright green 'granny' coccyx cushion at the regionals following a skiing accident. There's no hiding when you sit on the end!! (the cornet end not the tail end) |
| My Personal Profile: |
I started playing at the age of 11 and joined Tadley Youth Band under the tutelage of Paul Chapman. After attending Trinity College of Music I married hubby Richard (who I met at Tadley) and we moved further South and joined Downton Band in 1986 where we met many good bandy friends and enjoyed a brief period in the Championship section. We started our family in 1990 and after our 2nd child was born in 1992 found it difficult to continue playing and so had a long break until 1999 when I couldn't stay away any longer and joined MSB . Our 3 children are now all 'bandees' as well - it's a great hobby!!!!!! |
