Nick Prince joins National Youth Brass Band

Following a successful audition earlier this year, Michelmersh's seventeen year old Bass Trombonist Nick Prince, was invited to join the prestigious National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain.

Nick was delighted to be involved in this years summer course, which took place at Bromsgove School, under the directorship of Bramwell Tovey. Whilst here he was able to meet up with former Michelmersh player - Matthew White.

Nick has been a member of the award winning Hampshire County Youth Band for 5 years and has also recently joined the Hampshire County Youth Orchestra

He is currently studying for his A levels at Ringwood School and receives private tuition from Royal Philharmonic Orchestra Bass Trombonist Roger Argente.
