Big Band Plays Broadway!

You've heard of the Naked Chef, now brace yourself for THE NAKED BRASS BAND! Used to performing more traditional brass band music in formal uniforms with brass buttons and braid, Michelmersh relaxed and let their hair down in a concert held at the Plaza Theatre in Romsey on Friday 17th October. The band left their uniforms at home as they performed a selection of big band music and Broadway hits featuring the music of giants such as Gershwin, Glenn Miller and Lloyd Webber.

Another first for the band was the appearance of guest vocalist Beth Lapierre, an exciting young singer from Boston, USA. Beth gave beautiful renditions of some of Broadways Greats.
